Free MPs's -
Pearls of free music in a sea of electronic mediocrity
Fantastic music you can get for free! - but you really should check out thier web sites sites and buy thier CD's. Why isn't music this good on the radio?
Every radio station I can get sucks compared to a playlist like this.
- Einstein's Big Mistake by Scott Meldrum
- Pure Pop Genius from singer/songwriter Scott Meldrum. We just couldn't get
enough of this song. This guy would be a superstar if there was any justice in the world. A+
Scott's Web Site
- Siberia from BigSky
- A long time ago, there was a big BANG! Then there were dinosaurs,
then it got really cold and snowy, and then there was a band called
Little Green Men. After LGM returned to the ethers, Johnna and Steve
started Big Sky or so the legend goes....
Big Sky Home Page
- i_want_a_lot_now_so_come_on -by the Murder City Devils
- Raw rock/punk reminiscent of when Punk was fun w/out being retro.
Vicious go for the throat vocals - this would be great to pop into
the CD Player when you've only go 10 minutes to get across town.
Bands Web Site
- Original by Silage
- In a phrase - Genre-Mixing, but no really it's good. Long term friends
create catchy hard hitting power pop. I could mix some more cliches, but you should really hear
them for yourself. SilageLive.Com
- Superman by Rugby Road
- It's hard to believe the bio of the band - it says something like
these guys are touring the Mid Atlantic region in a beat up station wagon! What!
Be the first on your block to check'em out - NOW! Highly recommended.

- Make Me Sweat by Beyond Blue
- Classic! Virginia Norwood's vocals, the blues guitar of Joe Norwood,
and Rythm section of David Penney(Drums) and Bruce Crosley (Bass) rock through
this blues based scorcher. Joe and Virginia Norwood have been collaborating for 12 years,
why have I never heard of them before now? Please visit :

- Marijuana from Soundfreek
- Heavy, distorted guitar Seattle type grunge from a band that hails
from Argentina. We really like this song, and the band. Sounds like that really killer garage
band you used to go hear before they got their shit together and left town.
Soundfreek's web site
- Regret from Mukala
- I Guess you would call this Pop, but that really doesn't
do it justice. Inspired-Catchy "muh kah lah" - they call it music for a
new melliunium, I call it excellent. Mukala Web Site
- I'm Just A Cigarette from The Dead Beats
- Music from the subways of London, Paris, and Berlin. With lyrics like
You ordered mussels I recall, those fishnets hanging on the wall -
how can you not like this soft, slow, maddness.

Dead Beats Web Site
- Sensiless Slumber by Subsonic Headdub
- Describe themselves thusly : Subsonic Headdub is a fusion of reggae dub
and triphop, and were an active live experiment as part of Siren Sound System in Hull UK. This
one cut from a collection of live tracks from various gigs 1996-1997. Very Interesting sound.
