100 Passengers and crew die in Concorde Crash
An AirFrance Concorde carrying a German charter crashed shortly after leaving the Charles De Gaulle Airport on route to John F. Kennedy airport outside New York shortly before 5 p.m. local time.
Reports indicate the part of the breaking up plane crashed into a hotel in Gonesse, southwest of the airport and that part of the hotel was burning.
This is the first fatal accident involving the super sonic jets since they started flying.
Additional casualties reported on the ground
The Concord is a joint project England and France.
Today's crash come just a day after cracks were found in the wings of a different Concorde.
The Concorde reaches 1,350 mph, has been considered one of safest planes in the world.
