Gently rolling plains
Wheat that grows and grows,
Don't act like you still see it
What happened, the whole world knows.
Everyone has played a part
In destroying our dear sweet earth,
We never think what we are destroying
We never look at what it's worth.
Make more room
Chop down more trees,
Don't just stand there
Make more damn machines.
Keep on Building..
Higher and higher,
Truly whose heart was it
That we sat on fire?
We, ourselves
Are destroying our beautiful planet,
We are making it smaller
"Bigger buildings, we demand it."
You think earth can stop it
Now that's where you're wrong,
She can't stop it at all
But at least she knows It's wrong.
We look at earth in disgust
Look how filthy it has become..
Why don't we admit
We made what she has become.
We can't see her pain
Nor do we try,
We just lay back
Slowly watch her die.
Sometimes it makes me think
Whose side are we really on?
We only think about our greedy selves
In a way we cheer it on.
We can blame it on ourselves
All this pollution and fuzz,
Our children will never know
How spectacular the earth once was.
