Today I learned that there are racist people on this planet,
I hope one day they will stop being racist.
I may be black and all,
But there is no other reason, I guess, for being called names.
It’s not my fault I am black,
It’s not anyone’s fault.
You may make fun of me today,
Tomorrow, and forever.
I will not forget,
But today I learned how to ignore you.
