You went out to a party,
Had some drinks and smoked some pot,
And as you're doing all of this,
You think, "It's ok. I won't get caught."
You wake up in the morning and don't remember anything,
You wonder to yourself, why don't I feel the same?
And all you can decide,
Is that this is just a game.
As you sit up in the bed,
And begin to look around,
You are shocked and confused,
When you realize what you've found.
You glance around the room,
And see a note taped to the wall,
With handwriting and a signiture,
You've never seen at all.
It says, "Thank you for last night,
It was a lot of fun."
And you ask yourself outloud,
"What have I really done?"
As the day progresses,
Things begin to get more clear,
But some things are still fuzzy,
Because you've had a lot of beer.
You remember meeting a man.
You went up into his room.
Now the memories are flooding back,
And they hit you with a BOOM!
You go to the doctor,
He says you're gonna have a child.
This is like a bad dream,
That really has gone wild.
You wait nine months,
Then the baby is born.
Some people don't accept him,
And they look at you with scorn.
You love your son to death,
But if you could go back,
You wish that you could take
Such a different path.
When you were much younger,
You had never dreamed,
Of becoming a mother,
When you were only sixteen.
You really miss your old life,
And wish that this was just a dream,
But you can't go back,
Because it's a reality.
