What Happened to the Democrats?
Mike K.
So I've been following the Presidential race pretty closely this year. It will be the first election I take part in, even though I've been able to vote since the last election. I've studied all the candidates, read their platforms, watched the debates.
But recently, while watching CNN, MSNBC, and the 3 major networks, I've noticed that the media have completely ignored the Democratic race! I hear the names George W. Bush, John McCain, and even Alan Keyes on an hourly basis, but what ever happened to that Gore fellow, or what's his name? Oh yeah, Bradley. (wasn't he some kind of football player?
)
It's a disgrace that the media are completely ignoring the Democratic race. The media has an obligation to let the country know what's available to them, and they are not. If this continues, many voters who are not closely following the race will forget about the Democrats, and that will leave us with a Republican in the White House. I, for one, despise that. The Democrats deserve every bit as much publicity as the Republicans, maybe even more. The race is much closer on the Democratic side, and people should be able to see and hear the key issues involved in order to make an informed choice.
So let's hear your voices! Let the nation know that we want to see all 4 sides of the coin! (let's face it, Keyes doesn't have a chance) It is important that we continue the success that has been handed down to us in the past decade. That cannot happen if we do not allow ALL candidates the chance to be heard!
